Free math materials

It's always exciting to find good quality free resources in the internet.

I got this site's address from an email list. It has free math workbooks to download (yes complete workbooks!) for most of the grades, and they're pretty good.

Mathematics Enhancement Programme - School curriculum materials

And, this link has Online mathematics tests for student assessment for grades K-11. Multiple choice.

I also wanted to start making a list of such great free or inexpensive curriculum-related materials. Please click here to see it.. just a start. If you have suggestions, feel free to email me.

Hi Maria,
They are great materials - I use them with all my classes (sorry, schoolschool teacher here!). The interactive version of the Year 7 (and some of the Year 8) materials are particularly good. The textbooks themselves are available for order at c. £2.50 per book, which probably works out cheaper than printing them off.
CIMT also produce some other fine maths resources outside of the MEP project - try here.

Another fine UK collection of resources and activities, mainly with an extension/enrichment focus, but also free, is produced by Cambridge University's NRICH project.

I enjoy your blog... Have you used "logic patterning" at all in trying to teach kids the math facts? Here's a site that I've recommended to many parents through the years. Perhaps you'd like to add it to your list of resources.
